![]() ![]() But I love the architecture both exterior and interior! That outweighed the logo because it showed more related to modernism. It has to spell differently slightly and explaining that to the county clerk office why you want to name it after she or he sees the other name. If copyrighted name as Sk8 City, it is alright not to confuse with that bigger competitor and for the local county courthouse or clerk office when you want to register the name. There is a Skate City chain based out of Colorado and they are pretty much almost everywhere in the United States. ![]() Personally I am not crazy about Graffiti and texting names for Skate City. The name reminded me of another rink in Alabama that is called Gr8 Sk8. People will be bit confused on why you need to open a bowling alley when there is another one next door! Why need a bowling alley when there are another bowling alley next door! It is like having a McD next door to Burger King! Awful! I learned in business 101 without college education that having a similar kind of business next door is going to stab you in the back for doing this. The investment group owned for a short time.īy the look of it, it was a beautiful rink thanks to groves of pictures on the net! But also architecturally on the outside! Beautiful! Matching to other entertainment venues in that area.Īfter it was closed, it became another bowling venue to compete against the other bowling venue right behind the former Sk8 City rink! Google Map showed me there are two different bowling venues. This one Mark operated from Octoto 2015 which was short. And the straw that broke the camels back is that it's a Wednesday at noon and they are playing completely uncensored night club music using a ton of slang vocabulary which suits 30-year-old me just fine, but just about every one else in here is more of a Radio Disney crowd.like 10 and under and I'm cringing hoping my 9-year-old doesn't catch on and ask me what the guy on the song (J.Cole- Power Trip) means. The DJ occasionally announces from the booth that kids with carts need to stay in the middle, but no one listens and no one comes to enforce it. There's no one in the actual rink that works there so it's a free for all with kids going in all directions falling all over each other. He looks it over like I'm trying to pull the wool over his eyes, sighs loudly, and brings me the cart. I say ok and we stand there for a couple seconds before I ask again for the kids cart.he again repeats it will be $2.50.at which point I'm losing patience and notify him I've already paid for it and point at the receipt again. He says that will cost me $2.50.I hold up the receipt to him and he says he doesn't need that. I say thank you and remind him I also need the kids cart. High-school-summer-job guy is SO obviously stoned out of his mind that he can barely open his eyes and says "we don't have ladies sizes." I say, "Ok, well she wears a ladies size 6 shoe, pretty sure the rest is your job to know what that would equate to in the skate rental business." He rolls his eyes at me and comes back with skates for her and my boy. I lay down the receipt and said I need a kids 13 and a ladies 6, and a kids cart. ![]() Then I took the receipt to the rental desk to ask for the skates. But I had to explain that my boy, though tall, is not even a month into his 5th year and had no skating experience and convince the guy at the front desk to give me the stupid cart. ![]() First off, I walked in and asked for a kids cart for my youngest.guy says, "Oh, he's too old for that." I'm an adult woman, I don't care if it's for me.rules of customer service say take my $2.50 and give me the cart. NOT IMPRESSED with SK8 City in Pooler.accept the honesty and excuse the language. ![]()
